Music Library
The Music Library is where you catalogue the music you own and love. Track albums on vinyl, CD, digital, or streaming — all in one place.
Adding music
Section titled “Adding music”Add albums to your library in two ways:
- Manual entry — fill in the details yourself
- Search online / import — search Deezer or Discogs by album, or paste a Deezer/Discogs URL to import it with cover art and metadata automatically
While adding an album, a Deezer preview widget lets you listen to the matched release before saving.

Entry fields
Section titled “Entry fields”Each album entry includes:

Music genres
Section titled “Music genres”Each music library has its own genre system. Add genres that match your collection — progressive rock, jazz fusion, synthwave, or anything else. Assign multiple genres to any album. You can add, rename, and remove genres at any time.
AI Recommendations
Section titled “AI Recommendations”Get album recommendations based on your library. Pick A favorite, Something I haven’t seen before, Just something random, or Something new — solyto picks a matching album from your collection (or fetches a fresh release via Deezer for “new”). Use “Try again” to reroll.
Recommendations are generated on-demand only — nothing happens until you click the button.
Release notifications
Section titled “Release notifications”solyto checks Deezer for new releases from your favorite artists and can notify you when they drop something new. Notifications are configurable per channel — Telegram, email, or push. See Notifications for setup.
Browse your music collection in List, Cards, Shelf, or Spine views — the shelf and spine views render your collection like a record shelf with 3D flips. Search by title or artist (press Ctrl+F), and filter by genre, rating, or wishlist.
Exporting
Section titled “Exporting”Export your entire music library as .csv. The file includes all fields — artist, title, format, rating, genres, and more. See Exporting Data.
